Absolutely love this video which shows a little slice of folk music. It's just a pair of brothers playing an old song on a guitar and a banjo. I've watched it many times and it's among my favorite renditions of this song.

I like this.

Thanks Matt.

Here are a couple other gems by one of my favorite banjo players.

It's good to see (hear) others have the same appreciation for good music! (y)

This kid may not be everyone’s style, but he can pick a guitar or a banjo like nobody’s business. I’ve seen him live a couple of times

He did some great work with Marcus King!

Here is one of the best versions of "Summertime" I've ever heard! Doc Watson and his son Merle putting on an amazing show.

Here is another fun folk song I really enjoy:

Billy Strings is an amazing artist. He’s the best flat picker guitarist since Doc Watson IMO. He has a wonderful singing style too.

When I was nine or ten we were visiting my aunt and uncle in East Tennessee. One evening we went to eat at a local barbeque place where a banjo player and clogger were doing exactly this sort of blue grass and dance. Extraordinary. Thanks for posting.

Hillary Klug has been really popular the last couple years. She is good. I have been following her on FB and You Tube for awhile now...

She is terrific. Her more traditional Irish is also superb.

I am watching for her to play at the Opry one day soon...

Here is another rendition of "Hook and Line" that's fun to hop around to, after a couple strong drinks.

Here is a complete Ralph Stanley and Jimmy Martin record that I highly recommend!

My 3 year old and I were driving a few days ago and he started singing Long Journey Home out of nowhere...I figured I got a gold medal for parenting that day.

Speaking of good bluegrass, my wife and I are going to see Nickel Creek this spring and I can't wait.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
