My wife and I just got home from our semi-annual turkey hunt in the south central cedar hills of Nebraska. We have been hunting out there for years, and it just seems to get better each time. The turkey population in this area is unbelievable. This trip, we faced some weather challenges with rain, sleet and even snow, but hey, that's hunting. Still, we had an incredible hunt and limited out with 6 trophy birds. Nebraska is mecca for turkey hunters, and it offers some unique and beautiful landscapes.

We hunt with our guide and friend Dustin on a mix of leased, private and public land. This is a physical hunt with a lot of run & gunning, climbing hills, & belly crawling. It's also the most fun you'll probably ever have hunting. If you are interested in this type of hunt, PM me and I will be happy to give you all of the details.

I hope you enjoy the pics.... These are only a few of the highlights.

Excellent!! Thanks for sharing. Kevin

very cool!

ive been hunting north central Kansas for almost sixteen years now and I typically hunt turkeys in the fall just before deer opens. they are almost just as fun to watch as they are to hunt! you got some good looking birds! in all those years of hunting Kansas, ive only hunted turkey in the spring once! it was a good time, but I think I prefer fall more.

congrats!

Hi Joshlee0518 (please let me know if you are fine being addressed like that),

Thought I would drop you a PM. It is super exciting to plan a hunt and we are more than happy to assist you. Have you given any thought yet to which species you would like to take?

What do you hunt usually and which weapons/calibers are you using?

Look forward to swapping experiences and ideas.

Happy hunting - Daniel

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)
