All parts came off of a very lightly used Interarms Mark X. I have these listed elsewhere, but I wanted to make them available to the AH crowd for less than the general public. Not running a business here, just trying to recoup costs for my latest project. I'll split the shipping costs with you guys and can combine into a single box if you want multiple items.

Bolt - $200 $180
Magnum bolt face (300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, 375 H&H, etc). Commercial shroud with no safety. Unmodified, complete, original condition.

Trigger - $50 $40
Commercial trigger is with included two position safety. Forward to fire. Safety blocks trigger and locks bolt. Fully adjustable for pull weight, sear engagement, and overtravel. Fits all Mauser 98 receivers not just Zastava Interarms Mark X models.

Bottom Metal - $100 $80
Complete trigger guard, floor plate, magazine, magazine spring and follower, and action screws. Like new condition. Steel (magnet sticks to it) not aluminum like some cheaper aftermarket versions.

Curious what caliber bottom metal? I have a 30-06 barrel from my Mauser 98 into 404 project. I should put it up for sale I guess. No name on it re maker but it clearly had been fired.

I shouldn't have gone to lunch today. ;-)

I am ecstatic that you went to lunch today..

Now I just need a decent commercial bolt shroud and a project Ive been working on for a little while will be complete :)

Oh well, it may just give me an excuse to pony up for the Timney on that Mark X 308 I bought a few months back. It is one of the early models before they switched over to an adjustable trigger.

Thanks!

Found an original FN Commercial 98 shroud in the white for $68.. ordered it yesterday... custom 30-06 project should be done soon! :)
So did the original FN Commercial 98 guns have a 2-position side safety?

they did.. the shroud is "slick"... no wing or flag safety integrated into it..

Im guessing I'll have to do a minor bit of machining/filing to get a good fit on my military bolt.. they never seem to fit perfectly moving them from one gun to another.. but I did this with a 416 Taylor I built a few years back as well as a 270 Win... I'll get it to work (and be safe) :)

Right. The shroud that came on my BRNO action must have been a commercial one. It was rust blued (rather than parkerized) and had a notch cut out of collar for side safety clearance (even though it was fitted for military flag safety). But it was cracked. Since I had to replace the shroud anyway, I opted for a new 3-position Model 70 style safety and shroud. It did NOT screw right onto the bolt. May have been partly due to the former owner warping that end of the bolt when he welded on a fancy aftermarket handle. I had to "clean" the shroud threads, change the cocking piece, and thin the sides of firing pin a bit before the new shroud would screw on properly. Required a couple days of careful work. They don't give away those 3-position Model 70 shrouds!

swapping out the cocking piece is a reasonably effective move (I had a 95 Mauser that no matter how much fitting I did I couldnt get it to work.. but after changing out cocking pieces (went through 3 or 4 of them to find the right one) it worked like a charm)..

Im almost certainly going to have to clean up the threads on the shroud as well..

the gun Im installing this on has one of the buehler flip safeties on it now.. it works.. but its a little unsightly.. outside of the safety its a really pretty rifle.. nice wood, custom bottom metal, good blue, etc.. I figure for about $125 between the trigger and the shroud.. it'll dress the rifle up a good bit more.. pretty low cost to gain a good bit more beauty..

Thanks again for your support on the Rhodesian Shotgun thread. From the amount of "LIKES" it received, it appears there was only ONE person who objected. Hes also the same one who continually insisted on interjecting his posts that werent relevant to the thread.
