Just wanted to share my new addition.... Well new to me and I've owned it for a couple years, but its home.

1963 Browning Superposed 2bbls set, fully engraved by Marechal at browning when he was on staff.

Gun was hardly used, no signs of wear on action face and lock-up is new gun tight

All that crappy high gloss browning hate removed from the fore ends and stock matte finish oil applied to show off the grade 5 wood (someone at browning should rot in hell for the shellac they use) action was soda blasted to clean up the surface rust and new French grey applied.

obviously the gun literally oozes sex appeal.

That is a beautiful timber stock. Have you considered hand rubbing in some oil?

Very nice Super. I think these are among the best buys on the market and have a pair - 12 and 20 ga. with 28" solid rib barrels. I seem to shoot them better than most of my other shotguns.

Who did you have do the receiver?

I didn't get drawn for Wyoming this year.

Are you planning to hunt Unit 4 this fall?

Thanks again for your support on the Rhodesian Shotgun thread. From the amount of "LIKES" it received, it appears there was only ONE person who objected. Hes also the same one who continually insisted on interjecting his posts that werent relevant to the thread.
