So I built a Book/gun case

Are those “prop” books to fill the shelves
No lol Those are very real books, passed down from my father to me…. All of the great books in history along with both a micro and macro encyclopedia set, and 30yrs of world year books.
They are quite fascinating and and full of knowledge! If a man were to just read and study these sets he be a world smarter and much wiser than most college graduates!

CZ Diesel: VERY NICE, looks classic, a room a Man could go into, sit down and just admire and think about his accomplishments…be surrounded by some of the things he earned in his life and enjoyed. I’m Not sure how that room is “secured” but would guess you put thought into that as well. I know that I enjoy my collection and would love it to be more visible - but I just don’t trust the security to anything less then a very high quality Safe. And that deprives me of the pleasure you will get looking at yours whenever you pass by. I would need to build a house from scratch to incorporate an internal room like that - combining your beautiful aesthetics while incorporating my security requirements. Hope you have many hours of relaxing enjoyment in that room - it is Well Done !
Hank, your reply nailed it! This is the exact reason why I’m building this library, that and for remembrance of past family and their sacrifices and contributions

Well done Mr. Encino - a great way to pay homage to your surname!

CZ: that will always be more then just a room, it is special even before it’s completed. I also built a trophy room in my house and just walking into it make me smile

Just great, I have something similar at home but can only display my knives, our laws require any firearm to be in a safe.

CZ, I remember the days when a lot of information needed to be read and researched from books and encyclopedias in different areas of focus.

IMHO. Being that they were your fathers makes them as valuable as heirloom firearms.

I wish i would have had sufficient shelves to store mine over the years. Many boxes were filled with books and stored. and then given away, or thrown away, or burned. I still have too many without enough shelf space.

Very nice addition. Sir

Hi Joshlee0518 (please let me know if you are fine being addressed like that),

Thought I would drop you a PM. It is super exciting to plan a hunt and we are more than happy to assist you. Have you given any thought yet to which species you would like to take?

What do you hunt usually and which weapons/calibers are you using?

Look forward to swapping experiences and ideas.

Happy hunting - Daniel

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)
