Shooting a new to me rifle

[Altitude sickness]

After getting my snow plowed and shoveled. I grabbed my new to me, model 70 in .416 Taylor.
21” barrel, Timney trigger and custom stock and took it out on this breezy, sunny day.

The scope is dead nuts.

but it came with a two leaf sight that hit low. This new 3 leaf needed to be sighted in. Fixed sight is low, 2nd leaf closer to the bull and last leaf if high. Just above the target. All with flat tops and no file work.

It is a balmy 7 degrees F. at 2:50 in the afternoon where I'm at in Michigan and you live North of me. I'm glad your rifle shoots well, it might even shoot better after you warm up a bit. LOL
