Last item for the day... a great "starter" rifle for a kid or a small statured lady that might be showing an initial interest in hunting..

A Mossberg ATR "bantam" (youth sized) in .243 (@Bob Nelson 35Whelen should be excited!!!!! :D )...

Fluted barrel, synthetic stock.. unknown make/model rings and bases (came with the rifle).. pentax lightseeker 3-9x optic.. and nylon sling included.

Was bought for exactly the purpose stated above (a simple, affordable "starter" rifle).. certainly nothing fancy.. but gets the job done, and is surprisingly accurate.. its taken a few hogs and deer over the years and never failed its shooter..

Some minor dings on the steel.. but nothing major..

$300 + shipping to your FFL

All you need to do is get rid of that barrel and put a nice light sporter barrel on it in 250 Savage and you would have a nice little rifle that you would never part with. Bullets from 75gn VMax up to 117grain SST covers a lot of game

Got a 6 year old grandson that this would probably be good for! I just don’t have brass, dies or bullets, if not for that I’d be all over this. I’ll sleep on it and see what i can find to feed it if anything.(y);)

How about I sweeten the pot and throw in a set of Lee 243 dies? :)

I’m not sure if I have any brass or ammo.. but if I do, I’ll throw that in too…

Hi Joshlee0518 (please let me know if you are fine being addressed like that),

Thought I would drop you a PM. It is super exciting to plan a hunt and we are more than happy to assist you. Have you given any thought yet to which species you would like to take?

What do you hunt usually and which weapons/calibers are you using?

Look forward to swapping experiences and ideas.

Happy hunting - Daniel
