My father has decided to sell his Mark X 458 Win mag. He picked up both a 375H&H and the 458 about the same time and is settled that he is happy with the 375 and this sale will help with the next Africa fund. I'd love to keep it, but a double is in my future within the next 3 months. So, I'm listing this for my father but the rifle is in my possession if you would like more photos.
Rifle looked unfired when he received it. Just a few marks on the stock. Bluing is in 98% plus condition. Has large nitro pad added. Express sights with folding leads. Hood present on front. Wood has excellent grain, really a pretty piece in addition to a working tool. Rifle was shot just a few times to confirm working order after purchased. Bore is mirror mint. Swivel marks at the rear stud.

Asking $1000 for the rifle plus actual shipping. Local pick up available around the Greensboro, NC area as well.

Nice looking rifle. Why the "odd" looking recoil pad. Interarms put out some very nice rifles in their day. BTW what is the current L.O.P?

Yes, what is LOP and how many cartridges does the mag hold, CRF. ??THANKS

Yes to the C.R.F. the rest I can't answer.

May I ask you to measure the distance from the trigger to the end f the butt plate?
Thanks

Thanks guys.

LOP is 14.5" with current Limbsaver pad. LOP is 13.125" to end of stock if you want to replace the current pad.

Holds 3 in the magazine and 1 up, so 4 total. Might I add this has the side magazine release button.

Yes to CRF as well.

My .375 is one of these, a little older than this one though and no extended pad. They are good reliable rifles. Mine has 3 safari's ( two buffalo) under its belt and at least one more in the offing.

Priced reduced to $925 plus shipping, or $925 even for local pickup.

Forgot to ask for pictures of the rear tang screw area if it is still available.

Difficult to see what the safety configuration is. M70 or 98 wing? Assuming 3 position?

It looks like my .375 Whitworth, it has a thumb safety on side of rear tang it locks bolt and trigger.

2 position safety, on and off. But man that pad!!:D:D

You can see the safety clearly in the eighth picture down.

Just out of curiosity, is this rifle still available?

Rifle is still available.

I will get a picture as soon as possible, but it does not have the crack as present on others.

Certainly not what I would typically go for, but when you pull the trigger you can certainly tell your have a pillow between you and the rifle.

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….
