As your professional hunter, outfitter and host you will be accompanied throughout your safari by Louis van Bergen. Louis is an extremely competent and capable hunter since he has been hunting plains game from the age of six. Louis also has experience in hunting big five, since hunting Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Hippo is a way of live in Zambia where he spent the last year hunting.

For the bow hunters, Buffelsvlei Game Lodge has been specially set aside just for you. Buffelsvlei Game Lodge (5 000 acres) is privately owned by Louis van Bergen and offers six perfectly situated bow blinds and more than fourteen different species available for the picking. For the rifle hunter there are several concession areas to choose from, these areas include Gnu Ranch South Africa and 15 000 acres of prime concession land around Buffelsvlei Game Lodge. These areas provide lush bushveld and perfect hunting conditions as well as trophy greater Kudu bulls. All the above areas produce exceptional trophy animals.

Spiral Horn Safaris offers several different means of transport. There can be arranged that you travel by motor vehicle or shuttle services to and from all the hunting areas. Spiral Horn Safaris also has a privately owned Piper Cherokee 6 seated aeroplane. Flying is the preferred method of transport, because it safes traveling time and allows for more hunting.

Spiral Horn Safaris prides itself in optimizing your hunting experience and making it an unforgettable memory. Come and join us for an African sunset in the heart of the bushveld.

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,
