I had this put together as a little training rifle.

It started life as a CZ 455 training rifle. I had the tangent sight removed. Then the barrel was polished to 600 grit and rust blued. A Williams shorty ramp was installed, and a Skinner partridge blade in the ramp.

All plastic pieces were removed from the rifle and replaced with steel or aluminum replacement parts from DIP industries including the magazine.

The birch training rifle stock was replaced with a CZ American walnut stock. The American stock was stripped and oil finished. Also a thin pachmayr pad was added to more duplicate the feel of my hunting rifle.

Has an old Weaver K-4 scope mounted in Warne lever lock detachable scope mounts. Also includes Williams receiver sight.

Comes in Boyte Alaskan gun case and I will also throw in the Trader Kieth rifle strap I have been using on the rifle. Asking $700.00 for the lot plus shipping within the US. Reasonable offers considered.

Thanks in advance.
Casey

I saw your post and in my ear whispered Sir Alec Guiness’ quote from star wars “An elegant weapon for a more civilized age”.

You did a really nice job with it. Life is too short to shoot ugly guns. This gun doesn’t have that problem.

I appreciate the kind words, especially from someone with your knowledge.

I do agree, I enjoy this little rifle, and had almost put it back in the safe right after I took it out. Unfortunately some things have to go.

The rifle arrived today and is in better than expected condition. The FFL said it was one of the cleanest used rifles he has seen in a long time and offered to buy it from me when I’m ready to sell.
CM McKenzie was an excellent seller and super easy to work with. I would buy with absolute confidence again.
If he puts anything up in the future feel free to reach out because to me the cost of the item is irrelevant compared to the integrity of the man.

Thank you! And you were great to deal with as well! Thank you for your patience, and I’m glad you like it.

Hi Joshlee0518 (please let me know if you are fine being addressed like that),

Thought I would drop you a PM. It is super exciting to plan a hunt and we are more than happy to assist you. Have you given any thought yet to which species you would like to take?

What do you hunt usually and which weapons/calibers are you using?

Look forward to swapping experiences and ideas.

Happy hunting - Daniel
