Hey all. I had posted earlier about looking at a hunt with a different outfitter. While VERY reputable, the camps were not the best fit for bringing the new wife. I am open to any suggestions. Assuming a 10 day hunt, we would also like to tack on maybe 4-5 days of sight seeing pre or post hunt. I know i am new here, so I'm happy to answer any questions in advance. Thanks!

I looked up your old posts and I assume you mean Buffalo and plains game again? If you’d like nicer camps and more options for your wife I’d look at the Caprivi in Namibia or open areas adjacent Kruger in South Africa. Touring before or after is easy in both countries. What’s the price range you are looking at? The park areas in Caprivi would give a better experience but come at a premium. The areas adjacent Kruger are often sold in size categories.

I do not have a set price range per se. i know what was quoted to me in Zim for such a hunt and I am more than good with it. I am a novice so I do not know much about the Caprivi other than it is a great area for DG.

Good day sir
We would be happy to help you out

Good Day Sir

Tsala Safaris would like to present you with our 3 options for Buffalo and Plains.

Our own property in South Africa is a short 2 hour drive from Johannesburg Int Airport with lots to do for non hunters in the immediate area.

Our Zimbabwe property is 3 hours south of Vic Falls where you can spend time sight seeing before or after your safari there.

Our Mozambique property is in the vicinity of the Kruger National Park again making it easy for a few days of sight seeing before or after the safari.

I will send you a pm with more detail and you are most welcome to contact me.

Regards

Rouan

@JT300

Welcome Sir,

We would welcome the opportunity to host you and your wife on a customized Couples African safari that I guarantee will exceed all of her expectations and more!

Would you care to share who you chose to hunt with?
Of course. Sorry I did not mean to sound cryptic. Derian who posted a message above in the thread has been fantastic to deal with. He has put together a 14 day trip, 9 days of hunting for CB and PG, and the balance sight seeing with the wife. I spoke to most of the folks who messaged me here but Derian and I really connected and I am looking forward to it.

Caprivi of Namibia is an increidble place to get a true cape buffalo hunting experience wth options for some good plains game hunting with being in the middle to make a short hop to spend a few days sight seeing in some other great countries. Zim is another great chocie with lots of great outfitters.
