Ok...here's a question for you Weatherby guys: why hasn t Weatherby produced a 35 caliber rifle? Now don t try and give me the 35 Whelen stuff or the 358 Norma is enough...not a Weatherby with the Weatherby name.
Thx guys
Very nice and a 300 Weatherby caliber? Not quite the typical Weatherby stick but it still keeps the lines...I like it. How old is that rifle?...just asking
Ah yes, but the 35STW does not have the name Weatherby attached to it. IDK but i think a 6.5-300 might be to much of a good thing as well as a 30-378. However, Weatherby made them and the customers came and are still comming. I think a 35 Weatherby would sell and be welcomed by the shooting...
I really enjoy all this chit-chat about the Weatherbys. Here is a question maybe you guys can answer: why hasn't Weatherby made a 35
Weatherby magnum...they got most everything else...just asking
As an aside i really like my Weatherby: accurate,
dependable (at least mine is) and pretty good...
Anybody on the forum bought from this company?
I'd like to purchase but i don't know them and their web page say " they are moving" ?
Somebody help me out here...
Thx u
Ontario, well done...i like it. Glad you kept dads rifle and improved it to suit yourself. I have thought to doing several things to this rifle: a different optic ( i am not unhappy with the Leupold 4X) but more magnification would help these old eyes...i'm 72, i would get a spacer and increase...
I agree...i liked that "dog leg" bolt also. I was a kid of 9-10-11 years old when this rifle was built. They did leave it to "cock" on closing...and yes, u do get used to it. Haha
Thx for ur comments.
Oh, yes i do hunt with this rifle. Mostly on elk hunts but a bear and mule deer. I ve nevern taken it to Alaska or Africa. It is rarher accurate and easy on the shoulder because itviscso heavy...kinda nice really.

Comments would be appreciated as i know little about this rifle other than dad hunted with it quite a bit and i have shot it some. It shoots well but is heavy (over 10 lbs.) and gets...
