Yeah Wyoming is great as a resident but it feels like we’ve really snubbed our noses at non-residents. More times than not I’d rather hunt with a nonresident than some locals.
Great story!! I’m reading this as we sit at the airport on our layover heading to SA for our first trip. Talk about a great way to get the blood flowing. And making the layover drag by lol. Thanks again for the story.
Well that 60 days went in the blink of the eye!!! Lol between work and kids sports and graduation, seems like I just posted this lol. Hope I got all my ducks in a row because it’s probably too late now if we don’t. Leaving Monday morning at 5 for the 5 hour drive to Denver. And then let the...
10-4 actually have this done already as I emailed Henry everything he needed for my permit. And I kept it in my email. Also making me, my son, my brother little folders with all the paperwork in them.
Walmart in Baggs??? Lol nope nearest Walmart is in craig 40 miles away lol. I got the permethrin just haven’t put it on the clothes yet. I will check the tags from North Dakota taxidermy when they get here. They did our stags from New Zealand so they should have their ducks in order. Have to...
You obviously haven’t been to Baggs Wyoming lol. No range here that isn’t under snow. We’ve still got a foot on the level. Have a range at our house. Have been dry firing some but definately not enough. We need to get on that hard. I hadn’t thought about having all my eggs in one basket with...
I have power converters on my list to get still but haven’t gotten them. Thanks for the reminder. My son’s migraine meds are all in the original containers and in his back pack. The one thing I don’t like is my aluminum 3 gun gun case with my guns in it weighs like 75 pounds.. but not sure...
60 days from today my son, brother and myself will touch down in Johannesburg and embark on our adventure with Limcroma. :). Can’t wait. Henry has all my paperwork for my rifles. Airfare all taken care of thanks to Lori. Taxidermy is sending me my trophy tags for shipping stuff back to them...
My son, brother and I are headed to SA the end of May. Can I take 3 guns? All the guns are mine and was going to do my paperwork as such. Sorry if this has been asked before.
Just ordered me a couple GrizzlyStick arrows to try out. Should be 750 grain range going to tip it with iron will buff200 which is their 200 grain solid. Not sure if I'll get a chance at a buff but want to be prepared.
Headed to SA in May. Was going to use a small pelican hard case for my ammo. But I thought I read somewhere that in 2019 it has to be in a locking metal case? Anyone steer me in the right direction?
Thanks Bryan
Did you have tag and drag help with the bull? We helped them with some cow hunters when we were up there and they drug my bull out for me. Crazy nice folks the wife was a riot. She was harassing us as we were gutting mine. We broke trail out for her with our mules. Where did you stay in Jackson?
