I lived on the Kenai when it was still great. Ground up many a prop learning that river!

Went after paddlefish this week with @Jerycmeach Jery caught the biggest and I had to buy lunch.

I released. @Jerycmeach eats them but I am not sure how he prepares them. He is not on AH regularly but perhaps he will check in and let us know.

I know these as Spoonbill Catfish. Used to fish for them when I was stationed at Fort Campbell in the '70's. I don't like to eat fish but I thought Spoonbill was excellent, and no bones to worry about.

Just finished a day of fishing in Boca Grande for Tarpon and Goliath Grouper. It was a beautiful day on the water and I ended up bringing a 100 lb tarpon to the boat only for it to get eaten by 2 bull sharks. Unfortunately was not able to snap a picture of it in the chaos. The tarpon bite was slow with mine being the only tarpon caught by our boat and all the other boats around us. We then turned our attention to the Goliaths and I was able to catch my biggest fish of my life! Ended up catching four Goliaths with my largest pictured below. It certainly was workout bringing him up to the surface and made me wonder how much of a fight the giant 500 lb Goliaths would be. All in all a wonderful day and got strike both off my bucket list.

I hooked one up in the 350 lb range once and all I have to say is that I lost to that fish hands down. The power was something to behold.

Went to St Petersburg last week for a couple days with friends. Got a 100 and a 140 lb tarpon plus a couple small sharks. Largest caught was 180. Smallest 80. Note the size of the scales.

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
