I've shot Buffalo Bore ammo. It's overpriced. The 10 in quick succession were that level or higher. Not often a person needs to shoot that many +P+ rounds in a short time.
.45-70 is the lightest 458 caliber I own.
Now 458 Lott? That's a beast. Didn't take me 10 rounds to decide I didn't need...
I think it has a lot to do with how efficient and dedicated your postmaster and local investigators are. Once they get it cashed it's a lot harder to get back than if you realize early and get it intercepted.
Most farcebook scams are 3rd party. They befriend a pigeon to be their intermediary...
Yet, here we are, talking about a man who got scammed using a USPS money order...coincidence? Nah.
Cashiers checks are currently the most often counterfeited instruments.
100 % serious. I will never ask for nor send a USPS money order. Besides the scamming risks, it's a pain to cash one. If you live in town your experience may vary. I can send a check or deposit one from the comfort of my home. Might be 2 weeks or more before I can get to the post office between...
The 1st clue it's a scam is when they ask for a USPS money order.
If you're lucky, the receiving postmaster might be sympathetic and intercept it for you. You'd probably have to file a fraud complaint 1st, but you have to act fast.
I apologize for laughing...but I bet I have heard something similar a dozen times in the past 2 months.
When I think of brutal recoil, .45-70 is not what I think of. I've got 8 or 9 I (I forget
) .45-70s. The only time one has seemed brutal was when I fired 10 heavy load rounds in a...
Did you check your local Cabelas or Bass Pro? They usually have them. Right now, a used one will cost as much or more as a new one, since so many early buyers paid inflated prices.
I looked back at our timeliness. We only spent 2 days there. I think the elephant rides were at the Stanley and Livingstone preserve. We also did a relaxing Zambezi river sundown cruise.
We toured the falls, took a day trip to Chobe, and visited an elephant preserve. I'll have to research to remember which one. Might have been booked through shearwater adventures
We just flew out of JNB and spent 3 days at Victoria Falls, then back to JNB to be picked up by the PH for hunting. Left anything we didn't need in Zimbabwe at Africa Sky for the 3 days.
But I'm sure you could find an outfit to hunt with in Zim or Botswana.
