i use the raptors in a 7x57 (120 grain i believe). Im a believer in them. Amazed at the amount of destruction to organs. Quick clean kills. And i keep a few loaded backwards for the solid effect if needed for a follow up in thick stuff. Never needed them yet
since you are familiar with the cutting edge bullets look into the Raptor line. Load some as normal, turn them around and load a few as solids for specific situation.
In all honesty I give less than a yellow shit about a watch but this thread Is extremely interesting to me. I'm really enjoying all the info. Kudos to the gentleman that started it and those who participate. Fascinating really to a non watch wearer.
Two of my customers drove both their moose back last fall from newfoundland. Both were in chest freezers, capes, antlers strapped across the freezeres. No problem at all.
