Rev. Cheryl Meinschein and a delegation from Christ Mertz Lutheran Church in Dryville, Pa., landed in Haiti to begin missionary work. Two days later, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck the small island nation. The congregation needed to find a way back home amid widespread devastation and instability.
