It really boggles my mind how lazy people are in this country (USA). We have totally lost our work ethic in this country. Swift has stopped producing .375 AFrames since October. The can has been kicked down the road yet another month. They said they would have ammo coming off the factory line by March. Bill told me yesterday its been pushed back to May because of the lack of people wanting to work.

Its just unbelievable how covid made people lazy. :E Devious:

Barnes is the same-if you have a pulse and opposing thumbs you could get a job there anytime.
Part of the problem is that bullet companies hiring unskilled laborers aren’t necessarily high paying

So basically he told you that he’s a fairly shitty employer and people have decided to work else where.

I have to voice my opinion on the "Nobody wants to work anymore" mantra; it's more likely the case that nobody wants the job for what they are willing to pay.

I know construction company owners in Dallas who will belly ach to no end about how nobody wants to work anymore; while they are offering the same pay I was making in high school 20+ years ago.

Really?!!!
Yup. Offer better packages than other companies in your area, and you’ll never be short manpower. Isn’t that what the free market is all about?

That’s a bs answer. I see it daily. Not being able to get workers.
The migrants are here because a lot of Americans don’t want to work.
I have Guatemalans, Hondurans etc picking vegetables all around me at $15-$18 a hour cash. No deductions and housing is provided free.
Oh and I forget the ones shucking oysters , and working the seafood houses
You can now apply with the government to “sponsor” migrant workers. You have to provide a living wage and housing.
I also know plenty of American citizens that won’t work because they get more living off the governments tit.
I had one man I hired to was cars a few years ago.
Gave him a bicycle to ride 2 miles to my house? I would then give him a ride the rest of the way to work. Told him if the weather was bad I would come pick him up.
After 2 weeks he came to me and told me he had to quit. He went on to explain he was getting more from welfare that I was paying. He told me he needed at least 18 a hour to get what he was getting from the govt for free. That was 10-12 years ago.
We as a society are screwed

My buddy had a homeless guy squatting in a garage he owned. Tried to make a deal with him- mow the lawn once a week with the provided mower annd gas then he could stay there.

Was turned down by the squatter saying it was too much and he wasn’t accustomed to work

What the hell is wrong with people? We didn't need 9 mil illegals, we needed a nation of lazy people cut off.from the government tit. We now just have more people living on hand outs. Yes I know, some are hard working, but a lot arnt.

The government has burdened most business to the point they simply can not provide the better packages and still stay in business, We are steadily marching towards socialism,

In any case, if Swift is having troubles gettin' it done, then I guess I'd better start thinking about coming up with Plan B...

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
