I have posted pics and a hunt report earlier, but with the rainy weekend just past, I finally had a chance to go through a bunch of video from our spring Namibia trip and do an edit.
After my Moz trip a couple years ago I couldn't wait to get back to Africa, and through a combo of some good luck and a lot of research, my bro and I were able to put together a two-week trip to the Outjo area of Namibia for the spring of 2023.
We hunted with two different outfitters on this trip.
First, with Onduri Safaris, based out of their beautiful mountain top lodge, and then moving on to hunt with Scot Burchell of Burchell-Wolf Safaris, basing out of their old-school, traditional tented camp. Both camps were in the vast rugged, mountainous, and thick, area south of Etosha National Park.
I found Namibia to be an amazing place, stark rough, but beautiful, and huntable.
A fun, challenging hunt in a big place, with the animals you dream of, and a great group of men and women.
Adventure achieved !
Here's the YouTube link.
Enjoy.

I still have a bunch of video and pics from the last trip to SA, but that will have to wait for another rainy weekend.

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
