270 WSM and (especially) 6.8 Western Brass are both hard to get in the US.

ADG Brass is doing a low rate initial production run later this year, and they're going to need some feedback before it goes into full production. I had a conversation with them at Shot Show last month about this as I get asked fairly regularly when we'll get more of either caliber, and I said I'd try to find some folks who who would be interested in testing it out and reporting back (within a reasonable amount of time of receiving it).

Key things to know:
1. It is not free brass.
2. We aren't taking any pre-orders or making any guarantees on when it'll arrive or how much we'll get (should be later this year).
3. The feedback is critical to getting these calibers refined and in regular production.

Benefits to you:
1. You'll get some hard to find (and high quality manufactured brass).

Benefits to us:
1. We are an ADG dealer, and will be carrying a hard to find product which will ideally generate interest and website traffic and increased sales.

If you're interested in trying either caliber, let us know. Priority will go to customers who've already purchased these calibers from us in the past (Norma and Winchester headstamp). Just remind us of your purchase.

Happy to discuss further and hoping to help bring more in demand / hard to get products to market.

I would like to get 100 .270 WSM brass. I recently bought "Bertram" brand .270 WSM and the primer pockets were not drilled deep enough. Very poor quality control and they won't answer their phone to seek a remedy!

And WHOM is ADG brass? I've never heard of them. Thanks!

I have found Bruce to be pleasant and good to deal with, even when I wanted to borrow his 350 Rigby chamber cutter. Took a bit of talking but as he made the only available Brass in country it didn't take too much to persuade him to lend it.

I understand they’re well thought of

They make some pretty nice brass. So does Peterson if you haven't heard of them. Neither of them cover down on every caliber though and lead times are still pretty long on a lot of calibers. We have a decent amount of Peterson in stock right now and just 6.5 PRC remaining for ADG. We have several calibers back ordered with them, and will put in a larger order with Peterson after we move to the new warehouse.

Lou,

Sounds good. Please send me a PM and yes please share this post. Once I get a big enough response I’ll get in touch with ADG about it again.

With the large Noslers, went from their brass to ADG. Got more reloads per case and primer pockets stayed tight.

I find it interesting that Winchester's proprietary 6.8 Western cartridge just came out in 2021 and brass is this difficult to find for it? I'm glad some other brass manufacturers are stepping up to fill the void.

I’m definitely interested in the 6.8 Western brass!

I would definetly like to be on the list for 6.8 Western. I have developed several loads for mine so far. I would really like to support ADG in this. It would be my first choice of manufatures. Please let me know how to register.

Hey Mitch, please send me a PM (or email with):

First and last name
Email Address
Phone number (if you desire)
and any other notes about the brass you're interested in.

I'll let you everyone on the list know when we get some as well as any feedback I get from ADG regarding production.

Hi Bill, I'm interested in the 6.8W brass also, send an email to Raven Rocks this morning, will PM you here. Thanks so much!

I’d like some 6.8 brass. I’ve bought 7mm SAUM brass made by Norma and resized it to test out. It has worked so far, but really want actual 6.8 Western brass.

Thanks. Write me a PM or an email and I'll add your contact info to the list.

I've gotten everyone who's reached out so far added to the list. Thanks for the interest.

Please send me a PM with your name, email, (phone if you want), and I'll add you to the 6.8 western list.

I am interested in the 270WSM ADG brass. I have 2 other reloader's who are interested as well.
I use Nosler and Norma 270WSM brass for passed 11 years and have not been able to score any new brass for many years. Am on your notify list for the Norma brass you get in periodically.

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
