Dear Gent.
I recently returned from a buffalo hunt in the Save Valley Conservancy in Zimbabwe, big thanks to Roger Whittall Safaris for a fantastic experience.
As a guest, you could not feel anything of the problems that area has been through recently, Whittall's and one another farm are the only ones that currently are allowed to conduct hunts. But for how long, they dont know. But they are optimistic about the future.
Humani, as the place is called, has the Turkwe river running through, which is water-bearing in the dry season, making the area packed with animals of all kinds. Humani is definitely every hunter's paradise.
Unfortunately my school English is not good enough for long stories, so the pictures must speak for themselves.
In addition to the animals taken, I have seen: Elephants, Warthogs, Eland, White Rhino, Bushbuck, Gnu, Kudu, Zebra, Hippos, Crocodiles, Snakes, Monitor Lizards, Giraffes, Baboons, Monkeys, Turtles, x number of birds, traces of hyenas and wild dogs, heard both lions roar and Leopard cough at night just outside the camp. (I was safe behind my mosquito net) LOL, plus many that I've probably forgotten.
