Hey guys! I am on my elephant hunt right now - I still have a week left and won't be putting up a lot of details until I get back, but I brought along a satellite GPS tracker, which I am carrying with me on the hunt and it uploads my location every 4 hours (tracks location every 10 minutes).

Go Mike Go - excited to see the film footage when you return. Safe travels.

Very interested to hear this and thanks for the GPS too.

Best of luck! Can't wait to hear how your hunt goes!

I spoke with Mike via text today: lots of dung and tracks, but after 3 days no sightings of elephant. Early mornings and long days. They say you hunt elephant with your feet.

Yes sir you do hunt them with your feet. Be ready to walk for miles.
The GPS thing is cool.

Love the technology, have used it for a couple of hunts already myself. HOWEVER, as pointed out by my P.H. the technology is easily used by poachers to locate where and when game is EXACTLY. Might consider how it can be used.

Very cool stuff, best of luck

Interesting following your GPS.

Just don't cross the railroad tracks. Remember everybody is watching.:D

All the best on your hunt.(y)

Seeing those waypoints and tracks makes me want to go back today.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
