On the 1st day of the DSC Convention the YWCE takes place. DSC brings in over 400 high school and middle school students that are currently enrolled in their schools Outdoor Adventure Class. This is the class that has been developed by DSC and the Outdoor Tomorrow Foundation. As I write this I am traveling with 6% of my school population to this event. Sometimes it is easy to think the anti hunt crowd is winning. Today they are not. If you are at DSC Convention today talk to these kids and ask them about their class. It’s ok they don’t bite[emoji3]

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
