Northern Territory for Banteng in 4 x weeks

License and doe tags purchased, I'm ready for the whitetails in PA. A lot of big bucks sightings this summer in our usual haunts. Need to get the cameras out and the shooting lanes cleared but this summer's been a scorcher.

Nothing set in stone yet need to get through last few weeks of 2024 first.

A trip to Belgium to show my wife where I come from in mid June 2025

But planning to do a week in Waterberg mountains hunting for meat and hopefully a klipspringer or mountain reedbuck trophy, July 2025

The rest will be open for any good deals that pops up and the cashflow being there.
Luckily I'm here in SA already so no heavy planning on flights etc.

Well re-reading my post things did change made the trip to Belgium happen and that was worth every cent.

Hunted Limpopo for meat for my son just vefore easter wounded a blkue wildebeest tracked it for 2 days and lost it my first blue wildebeest lost and wounded. Shot a large bodied impala ram with bad horns and my shon managed a yong impala ram. He was after kudu cows a new species for him but never had a proper chance bush was extrmely thick.

Second hunt, hunting plans changed quite a bit ended up hunting or helping to hunt buffalo cow in Limpopo with no luck just couldn't line up the right cow for a shot.
Then after that did a hunt in the Free State with the 25-06 and bagged 2 x kudu cows @DWB also went along and bagged a big/large body wartie.

Maybe doing a quick one day hunt to make sure fridge is filled untill next season end of this month but no trophies were harmed in this year thus far and I suspect will be safe for the remainder of the year.

My 2025 has turned out pretty well.
Limit of whitetail bucks behind the house and a good hunt in RSA.
Dove season has started out well as well.
