Woodleigh Cannelure

I have some Woodleigh soft nose bullets for my 470 but some appear to be different. Some have the smooth cannelure others have knurled cannelure like Hornady. It appears the knurled ones may be newer and have a higher BC than the others. The smooth cannelure ones are dated 2003, no dates on the others. Are they different enough to make a difference?

Do you crimp into the cannelure, if no, then no real difference at 470 speeds and distances. And if you do crimp, again no real difference. 470 cal rifles aren’t long range accuracy items
