As is my tendency every 12-18 months, I clean my office and safari room to tidy up. In the process, I find spare stuff I don't need and plop it all into this venue as a virtual safari yard sale. Yesterday, Part 1 sold out of almost everything in about 6 hours. Without further ado, here's the winter 2024 yard sale, Part III.
Shipping info: I'll ship via FedEx ground in the lower-48 states. I'll combine shipping on items as best I can to keep prices manageable. Ammo must ship ORM-D which incurs a surcharge.
Payment: via Paypal F&F, Venmo, Zelle, Chase Bill Pay, or very reluctantly by a personal check. Cashiers checks and money orders are unwelcome. (I'd rather receive a bad check than a good postal money order!)
A very cool pair of English made "Sure Shots". These patented inserts are a target device for practicing your gun swing indoors. You fill them with batteries, when you pull the trigger, the light bulb comes on showing your snap shot alignment, or showing you your lead/follow on objects. Quite valuable, I've seen them sell for a LOT each at the European gun auction houses. These haven't been tested to see if you need to replace the bulb, nor are batteries included. One 12 bore and one 20 bore. You'll need to clean them up and test them out, but they are a simple device you can certainly get working again. $75 and free shipping.
A wool Stetson English Shooting Cap. Size unmarked, but seems like a large on my big melon. Worn once. $50 and free shipping if you combine with another item, otherwise add $12 shipping.
Here's a cool man-cave item. Who doesn't love Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders? This is a Krag-Jorgenson rifle just like they used on the battle of San Juan Hill. This one is deactivated, and nickel plated, likely used a parade drill gun or was gifted to a veteran. It's pre-1899 so its not a regulated firearm. $150 and $25 shipping in the lower-48.
How about a hand built muzzle loader? This gun was made by the known gun writer Robert W. Metze. I bought it from his estate years ago. It's a very nice, functional, percussion muzzle loader. How about $250 and free shipping in the lower-48?
How about a really nice, mid-20th century English made, all-leather gun case that is NEW OLD STOCK!? Designed for a side by side, drilling, or double rifle. Has an extra compartment for a full length cleaning rod or rifle barrel insert too. Oh, and it still has the key, extra baize cloth, all the blocks, and is ready for you to adjust for a perfect fit. Super nice quality, made by Brady of England. $850 and free shipping in the lower 48.
How about a safari case? This was probably for a hammer or hammerless double rifle. It's English, it's circa 1890-1905. It needs new straps, new handle, and an interior lining to your tastes. It looks super and is a rare find for a decor or fine gun use. $325 and free shipping in the lower 48.
Here's a nice piece, a large tapestry of a hunting White Gyrfalcon on gauntlet. This is a tapestry of the famous painting by Wolf featured in the treatise "Traite de Faucconerrie" in the 19th century. $150 and free shipping in the lower 48.
Two pieces of framed falconry art! Your choice, framed print 1 is of a Apolomado falcon pursuing blackbirds, signed by the artist. Framed print 2 is of a Eurasian Kestrel in flight. Your choice, $150 and free shipping.
A very beautiful rare book. "Sport With Gun And Rod" by Alfred M. Mayer. Gold leaf binding, leather cover. A substantial book 2.5" thick. Loads of inset prints with paper coverings on them throughout the book. Perfect condition copies are on abebooks for $1500 and up. This one has a tattered spine and a loose front cover. It could use a reconditioning, or just enjoy it for the internally beautiful work it is. $180 and free shipping.
Collectible man-cave ammo! The 8 boxes on top are full. The 7 boxes on bottom are partials or empties. Really nice vintage ammo boxes that will look great in a display case or on your desk. $80 and free shipping.
Uncommon European ammo! 3 boxes of 7x65r ammo (1 full GECO-RWS, 1 nearly full GECO-RWS, and 13 rounds of hirtenberger) for $150 and free shipping. A box of Norma 9.3x57mm ammo for $80 and free shipping. A box and a half of 7.62x25 Tokarov ammo for $25 and free shipping with any other purchase.
A Ruger 77/22 LR barrel with sights. I never fired a round through it, it came with a ruger all-weather that I installed a suppressed barrel on. I think it will fit a 10/22 LR as well, but double check that before purchase. $100 and free shipping.
Two incredibly rare boxes of 33 Winchester (33 WCF). The winchester box is full, the remington box has 17 rounds. $300 and free shipping, the least expensive price per round you'll find anywhere on this super rare ammo.
I still have a couple pairs of gently used Courteney's left.
From top to bottom.

A lovely Kukri that I use for leopard blind work and other camp chores. It was a hand select out of 50 imported, it was reground by a knife maker, JRE sheaths made a custom leg sheath out of shark skin. It's a dandy. $250 w/ free shipping.

Southwest / Native American pillow made of deerskin, hand painted with the raptors of North America's feathers. (red tailed hawk, golden eagle, prairie falcon, merlin falcon, and snowy owl) The decor of our home doesn't coordinate, so I'll sell it for a bargain of $70 and free shipping.
Two copies of the deluxe edition, numbered edition of Blood Knot by Pete Fromm in their slip cases. I've seen these offered for as much as $1100 each on "the famous book site". I purchased these via my support for the American Museum of Fly Fishing. The trade editions have sold for several hundred dollars and these are the limited deluxe edition. I'll take $120 each and free shipping. Also an antique fishing creel I bought in the mountains of Vermont. Perfect man cave or office decor for only $60 and free shipping.
