True Dat!Highly likely this is a scammer folks. Joined in 2023. Just started posting recently. No introduction. Plain vanilla posts. Now selling a rifle in that $500-$2000 range. At, I might add, a somewhat lower than expected price IMO. Headed towards a quick sale and someone jumping on a “deal”. I’m confident he is one. PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION.
Wow, Maybe i should increase the price and say Hello. What that make any difference?Highly likely this is a scammer folks. Joined in 2023. Just started posting recently. No introduction. Maybe, maybe not. Your posts fit a pattern so if I were you I’d jump through hoops to prove I’m legitimate. I apologize for my frankness but we’ve seen this time and again and seen people lose money to scammers. I’ll apologize if I’m wrong.Wow, Maybe i should increase the price and say Hello. I don't know @Pasme personally, but my brief assessment was that his profile and activity seems less inline with the typical scammer and more that of a legit member (e.g. his posts seems to contain largely quality content that is relevant to the subject being discussed). It’s also interesting to see a 264 offered for sale when there’s an active thread about a 264 occurring. As a capitalist I commend you on possibly reading the market but it also could be a sign of an opportunistic scammer.
I could very well be wrong and I’ll admit that and apologize if he is legit. I’d rather be wrong than someone lose a thousand bucksI don't know @Pasme personally, but my brief assessment was that his profile and activity seems less inline with the typical scammer and more that of a legit member (e.g. his posts seems to contain largely quality content that is relevant to the subject being discussed). That being said, I would humbly suggest that @Pasme add a little more information that would be relevant to this particular offering. Such as, what generation Model 70 is this (e.g. a New Haven gun, FN-BACO from South Carolina, Portugal, etc?). Also, one picture shows ammo; so is that included or offered at additional cost? Again, just my unsolicited $.02.
Understood, and it is fundamentally a good thing that the members of this site look out for each other. My Spidey sense just isn't going off about this one. Hopefully that is accurate.I could very well be wrong and I’ll admit that and apologize if he is legit. I’d rather be wrong than someone lose a thousand bucks
