You are probably aware of this, but I'll state it anyway. As a new member it's gonna be hard to sell guns. There are so many scammers out there it makes many of us gunshy so to speak.
To sell a gun people usually want to have more details. Really, really need pics. Pics with todays date and your username helps. Answering questions promptly will be a key detail. If it was me I'd of listed 2-3 at a time to get good pics and to keep up with questions. If your a well known member of another forum tell us which one and your username.
What city do you live in? A known and trusted 3rd party inspection from someone on this forum will go a long ways towards helping you sell some of these. I'm missing lots, but I wouldn't have any interest without what I have mentioned here. Plus how you want to be paid. Good luck.

I understand the concern about selling online. I generally will only buy from someone I can talk to first. I am in the Houston area and anyone is welcome to meet up and inspect. I am putting these out there and if they sell, great, if not, I am not going to lose too much sleep. I intentionally did not put pictures out there because I want people to reach out and hear their voices on the phone.

I get it. No worries ... before I would even sell to anyone, I would expect a phone call, information exchange, and all proper due diligence on both ends of the transaction. I intentionally did not post pictures or give too much info online because that trust goes both ways. I have no idea who is asking me on the buyer's end. If someone is interested, they can reach out in a private message and we can talk. I have no problem sharing my info with a verified buyer and I would expect to verify who they are on their end too. The money is part of the deal, but making sure the firearm does not go to an "idiot" is just as important to me. I will get the land whether I sell the guns or not. I just realized I had too many and have a few that I would like to see go to a good home and be appreciated. That is why I offered them here and not on the online listing places. I posted here and in the S&W Forum that I have been a member for years.

I originally joined this forum to discuss the guns I have of the "African Calibers". I have already gotten a few inquiries and talked to the prospective buyer(s) and made arrangements to meet up with them when they are passing through Houston in the future. If someone wants something mailed, then there are quite a bit "trust but verify" hoops I would expect on both ends.

Did you read the rules? You are supposed to upload pics.

And you won't get far with the attitude that you the new guy don't trust the members. It is fully understandable what you are saying about an open forum but you need to post pics.

As for trust on your end, don't ship the gun until you are paid! Now especially on the higher end, you may need to do that transaction in person and honestly being in that huge metropolis, you have a shot at that working out... but yes, be thinking about a go between and expect to pay a little.

So you don't actually have proof that you've got anything for sale? And if you do have them for sale, we can't at a glance see if they're misrepresented, overpriced, in poor condition, have a giant phallus lovingly engraved on one side of the receiver/action/stock, or otherwise a massive waste of folks' time and money?

This is not meant to be wholly serious. Being wary of online buyers is a valid concern and wanting to have some personal interaction with the buyer is a great idea, but I'm sure you can see where I and others are coming from. The saying "Pics or it didn't happen!" is a cliche but it exists for a reason, haha. For example, I'd be interested (had I the $$) in several of your offerings (the Hand-Ejectors, M1917, perhaps the Mauser), but without pics I have no idea if they'd be worth buying and indeed I'd have closed this thread and moved on since I didn't see any.
