Yeah I know. Odd question.

Here’s what’s going on -

I recently got a Beretta 687 20/28 combo with 32” barrels. As expected the gun was VERY barrel-heavy as the stock is a field stock and the barrels are unusually long for a field gun.

I sent the gun to Cole’s to balance it out. It actually took quite a bit of additional weight to do this as the gun balanced over 2” in front of the hinge.

since the 20 and 28 gauge weight differently and the 28 gauge is heavier I had them balance it for the 28. Now with the 20 the balance is a bit off towards the stock. Not as bad as it was before and much preferred to being barrel heavy but I was wondering if maybe I could add some weight to the ends of the barrels with heavier choke tubes.

Just looking around I suspect the Comp-n-choke ARC (the solid ones with no ports) look pretty stout and in the description says “0.25 lbs” which sounds TOO heavy to be true. That would mean 2 chokes = half a pound?

anyway, if you have any experience with choke weights, please tell me what you know.

@Sharing246 - I suggest you ask Cole’s for their advice - they already have direct knowledge of your gun and are an authorized Beretta service center…they will have the most knowledge and can recommend the best way for You to accomplish your objective.

I'd like a bag of 100. I could actually pick it up since I'm in North Irving, but if you prefer, shipping it is fine.
