Imported by Interarms, this Whitworth Safari Grade African Series bolt action rifle in .458 Win is LNIB. The rifle has been shot once from a bench, less than 20 rounds fired through it. Beautiful wood and a smooth action make this a very elegant firearm.

Look at the size of those bullets!!

If it would not cost me another $700 bucks to bring it across that border I might just try and hurt my shoulder with this one. :)

is this a CRF?

is this a CRF?

Yes it is. Its built on the Yugoslav Mk X Mauser. I have the same rifle in .375 and have taken it to Africa 3 times and its performed flawlessly and is very accurate. This appears to be a later model as it has the side button floorplate release instead of inside the trigger guard, and the front swivel is on the stock instead of on the barrel as is mine, that was made around 1983. These guns were assembled in England using the Mk X action, (the other CZ), Zastava, and perhaps their barrels. The newer Remington 798 series rifles are the same action from the same place. Very good, relatively inexpensive guns.

Thanks a lot, sestoppelman.

A good Tracker with the PH's rifle, the same type as above;
