Ive exhausted my google fu.. so Im hoping someone here might know the answer to my question..
does anyone have any idea where Steiner gets the glass for their scopes and binos?
an assumption would be AB Schott since most of the high end German and Austrian manufacturers go there for their glass..
but I can find no actual evidence of this..
Im specifically looking at the Predator line of scopes.. Ive found an absolutely smoking deal on a 2.5-10x42.. but the only steiner product I have ever looked through is military issue binos (which were extremely good in terms of ruggedness and also had very good clarity, brightness, etc... not high end swaro clarity.. but certainly at least equivalent to mid grade zeiss, swaro, etc)..
