I was looking at the shoulder mount images on teh Savuti Taxidermy web page, and came across this attached photo. What the heck is this? I've not seen one of these in all my surfing of this site. It looks to me as if an oryx and kudu had a bastard child...

Wiki says it is native to the Indian sub-continent. That would explain why I haven't found it here yet...

Yup. originally from India, but now huntable in Texas!!!

I've always wanted to hunt one, but never have. It is still on the list, but many other animals have a higher priority.
