We bought some land

If you don’t do this you are not living. There are no hills here please advise on my category.
First there's Redneck.
Next, there's Hillbilly.
Last, there's Podunk.

Rednecks can be found almost anywhere.
Hillbillies are found in isolated pockets in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Podunk is often used to describe those from Mississippi.

However, in the unfortunate event you are described as a Podunk Redneck Hillbilly, you are most certainly from West Virginia. :ROFLMAO:

Any further questions?

I know some Hillbillies that would keep those Bluegill and fry them up hard, then eat e'm whole, tail and all.
They are delicious!

I don’t have a question but a statement… both redneck and hillbilly describes people but Poduck usually describes where a person is from rather than a person.

Took my granddaughter fishing again and we caught a total of 10 fish today, to include a Warmouth (new to me) fish.

Soon, she’ll be shooting a 10/22 grandpa bought for her . Need to get them started young, they are the future of our hunting sport/passion. (y)

Is my room with my K9 roommate still open, Sir?

I'd only seen them on charts depicting various freshwater fish. Every once in a while, I have to pull out the picture book to see what a bird or fish is that I've seen or caught, and that's part of the fun. :D

Very cool looking fish!

You betcha!!! It’s even better now with electricity and much better once we get water :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I had never seen or caught one. My local taxidermist told me about it when I showed him the picture. :ROFLMAO:

Now that we have electricity, we've been concentrating on some nice things to have inside the home. We got fans for the bedrooms and the living room, and our neighbor gave us a ceiling lamp he was not using, and we of course put it to good use in the kitchen. The bathroom also finished, with a new toilette and some paint. Soon, we will be moving to work on the mancave. :ROFLMAO:

I found a little shed inside one of the feeders. I'm guessing the little buck left a small token of appreciation so I can continue to put fresh food in the feeders. :ROFLMAO: I looked around for about 45 min and couldn't find another; it was too wet and muddy. While I was looking for more deer sheds, I found these beautiful wildflowers that look like some type of Lilies, and they were all over the place. Two days later, the flowers were gone. I'm guessing the deer probably ate them.

Wife and I were reflecting on how much we've done in less than 8 months, working with no electricity and using battery power tools. We are working hard when we are there, and we are enjoying every moment. Life is good!

A new toilet ?

Reminds me of some of our Founding Fathers, like Thomas Jefferson who when asked where they should place the new toilet answered "No civilized and educated person would ever do such a thing in the house".

The contractor (wife) suggested (I thought it was more like an order) that we needed to replace the existing toilette. I saluted sharply and got to work on it. :ROFLMAO: She is very happy now.

@PARA45

Put one of these fish feeders beside the pond and fill it with game fish chow and you'll see a whole new level of bluegill....

those lilies are Zephyranthes atamasco, commonly called Atamasco lilly, a native lilly of the southeast usually found in wet areas of costal plain and piedmont. They are gorgeous but only last a couple or three days. The bulbs can be transplanted with some success.

Thank you for the information. (y) Good to know.

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.
