NRA, GOA, CCRKBA,
My wife and I are very excited to finally have our South African trip booked.
We are going around late May/early June of ‘23.
Will start with a couple days in Victoria Falls then back to SA for a 7 day hunt and a couple days of side trips.
The hunt list is warthog, Impala, blue wildebeest and springbuck. May add on zebra and blesbuck.

Exciting news for you and your wife, congratulations!
What area of South Africa are you hunting?

Totally awesome!! Safe travels!! Where are you staying in Vic Falls?

Good luck, you'll have a great time......

Elephant Hills
That looks very nice, I've not stayed there. I've stayed at The Kingdom 3 times and enjoyed that. The Vic Falls airport is pretty new, has some nice mounted animals in it!! If you get a chance, check out the sunset dinner cruises there. They will come collect you at your hotel and return you after the cruise!! And, it's not a bad idea to take a raincoat when you visit the falls!! I'm super happy for you and your wife, safe travels!!

Appreciate the tips!

Definitely add on zebra and blesbok! Exciting trip, looking forward to your report this summer

Officially envious. Have a great time! Never been to Africa but I have guided Alaska. A lot. If I could offer some advice, take some pictures but don’t miss the trip looking through a camera.
Dall was always on my list. But, now it’s insane what a hunt costs. It may be unattainable now. I’ve been to Alaska for a week long ride around, camp & fish.

When in the falls I recommend lunch or dinner at the 3 Monkeys. Their Tomahawk steak is the best meal in town. Lunch at the Lookout is the best view in the falls. Unfortunately there is very little water going over the falls this year. Hopefully that will change a little!

Congratulations,
I hope you get all that's on your list and more.
You might need an extra Warthog because they are cool.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
