It's a great book and well worth the search. You can really appreciate Cal's passion for the double rifle and bore rifle in particular in this book. In my opinion, it's the best of his several books.

I finally got my hands on an 8 bore rifle and Cal's information on these guns would help greatly!

I actually bought mine directly from Cal the day I drove down to his house to shoot his 8 bore and a few other doubles. He was a great guy
