When I was looking at 375's and dangerous game what I read was that the single shot Ruger #1 might not be the best choice. I also wanted a Ruger #1 so I got a 300 Win Mag in Ruger #1 for my second trip to SA. I have turned around and picked up a 375 Ruger in a Ruger Guide rifle.

Working on getting a scope for it.

I have the guide gun in 416 ruger. It is great.

I love #1s though, I sold mine a few years back and that was a bad decision.

Found one actully in 375 H&H what I was really looking for. Was another one of those buy gun put in safe so was still in box. Thanks
