WANTED: Ontario Hunt November 2016

I'm going to be in Toronto Monday 7th to Thursday 10th November (Need to be in Chicago on 11th).


So I’m wondering if there is a chance for a bit of hunting to fill the time. Does anyone have any offers?

Good luck on your hunting, maybe look online for some deer hunting that time of year. I'll check with a friend that lives in the Toronto area and see what he can recommend.

Toronto is not exactly in the north woods. Perhaps there might be some bird shooting in some fields down that far south.

Yep but they'll need their snow boots to kick the birds up in 2 feet of snow.

Try "Island Sunrise Cottages" on Manitoulin Island. It is approxiamtely 5 hours north of Toronto. The owner and guide, Neil Debassige, is friendly, knowledgeable, and can take you to some prime deer hunting locations where you are sure to take down a nice buck.

With three days I would suggest a goose hunt. It takes about a day to get out of Toronto...lol...Lots of shooting and you are within a couple of hours. I have hunted with Woods and Water out of Campbellford and they usually manage to do a good job. Sadly, could not make it happen this year.
