There is one on GB, the link is attached. However, can anyone tell if the vertical line (pictured on the receiver) is a scratch or God forbid .. a Crack?
Thank You AH.

Looks like a scratch to me. Just kinda imbedded in the stock.

Looks like somone had a screwdriver slip. Almost looks like a dummy scratch on a 1911. I just bought the non-Boddington (is that a thing?) Ruger No. 1 Tropical in .450/400 NE, today, off GB.

Thats not a Boddington?

Beats me. I was trying to help...

"This one is not a Boddington but i would sell for $1900 with dies, 50 pieces of brass, 200 Woodleigh softs and 60 A-Frames. Includes NECG peep sight."

Now that is a much better deal than what I posted!

An excellent rifle, and offer with dies, brass and bullets, not a Boddington, but in the same serial number range as one I know of. Very accurate and a handy powerhouse. I would not sell mine for twice that price.

Good Luck with the Sale. Someone will get a nice rifle.

A Guy makes a posts to Purchase a Boddington Ruger #1 Rifle and ALL these People Post Guns that are not only NOT BODDINGTONS some arn't even Ruger #1's!!!! What am I missing?

Apologies for my ignorance. I know Ruger made a series of Boddington endorsed/branded Ruger #1s, each in a caliber selected by Boddington to be best suited for specific African game - four of the big five and Kudu? I think they were in classic rimmed nitro cartridges, classic rimless cartridges most common in bolt guns such as 300H&H, and one in Ruger 375?

What exactly is the difference between a Ruger #1 in 450/400 and a Boddington Ruger #1 in 450/400?

A Boddington #1 is VERY Collectable only 250 of Each Model were Ever Made!!! Thats the Diffrence?

The fact that people on here are generally helpful and enthusiastic about guns and hunting; maybe that's what you are missing.
I am looking for a Red Corvette? Here is a Blue Ford Mustang!!! How is that Helping?

Okay. Thanks. Got it. It is silly to think that someone that put “Boddington 450/400” in the title of the post may be interested in a good deal on just a plain ole run of the mill Ruger No 1 in 450/400. I mean, you might not even know what animal you’re supposed to hunt with that, without Craig’s sage model branding.

I don’t have an extra Boddington 450/400 taking up space in the safe. I do have a VERY collectible Princess Diana beanie baby - very few made.

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
