Looks like I found a rifle, but the rear sight is sadly missing as is often seen. Fortunately the front sight is still there as its not as easy to remove and s***can.
Anyway, would like to find the whole assembly or even just the base which fastens to the barrel with two screws, blued steel.
Rifle is the first model or Mk 1 as some call it. std barrel diameter. Mk11 may use the same sight but not sure. Have looked at the usual places and so far no luck, but will keep looking.

Rifle has on it now of all the goofy things an Aimpoint Mark III red dot sight which the seller tried today and says it works. I wanted to buy the rifle without the dot, but he said no.

I have no use for the thing and it could be used for trading for a sight if someone has one or could be purchased outright from me.

Ebay maybe? I've seen sites there.

You could fill in the screw holes or notch (with a blank) and get a quick detach peep site by NECG. I did that on my Ruger and it's a big improvement.

Yeah, went there first, and Numrich, GB and others.
I like to stick with factory stuff whenever possible. If I dont find one, probably just leave it as is with the filler screws until I stumble on one.
