Looking to buy a 375 Remington ultra mag. Prefer it in a Remington 700 rifle. Anybody got one for sale?

Not sure if you are dead set on the 375 but I just bought a Remington Custom Deluxe in 300 RUM. I was going to convert it to 404J but an now looking to sell it.

I have a 375 RUM in a Remington 700 ABG. The only one I've been able to find and it's a fine rifle; actually one of the most accurate rifles I own! I wish you luck on your endeavor to find the rifle and more importantly properly headstamped brass.

Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of 300 rum’s and would like a 375.

I was thinking the same thing on the price, but I looked at all the normal places (gunbroker, guns international, Cabelas, and Armslist) and that was the only one I could see. There are a quite a few of the 300 RUMs out there so the idea of picking up a 300 RUM and having it rebarreled might be the most cost effective way.
Good luck!

Kind of off on a tangent, but has anyone actually had success getting a gun on armslist? Everyone I have ever looked at on there has been a scam....

I have had plenty of luck on armslist. I've bought a 500 A-Square, 375 Ruger, and my 375 RUM on it. Just have to talk to the people and be cautious. I always pay half before I recieve my gun and half after the fact. Just do whatever is comfortable for you and the seller.

Most often I don't get a reply back, even on newly posted ads, guess I'm just unlucky, lol. Have only actually spoken to 2 sellers and both were obvious scams

Very nice rifle, that would be perfect for the buyer here! Also, scams are going to be rampant anywhere, just be cautious and see what happens.

Thanks so much! Went straight to gunbroker and put in a bid. Have to see how crazy the price gets. Again, thanks for the help.

I think the 375 RUM is a great cartridge. the Nosler manual notes that it has replaced the H&H for their accuracy testing of 375 bullets. I don't see why it isn't popular enough for the makers (Remington) to continue chambering and ammo production. I guess the standard length/non rebated head 375 Ruger stole the RUMs thunder.
