Victoria Falls Airport to Caprivi Strip with Rifle

I see it’s super easy to get from the East Coast of USA to Victoria Falls. Has anyone found a safe and easy way to cross through the boarder checkpoints of Zimbabwe and Botswana without issues?

My wife and I did a photo safari to Chobe Park, Botswana and then transferred to Livingstone, Zambia. I will find the details on the organization that handled the transportation, as it was quite impressive. There is a lot of tourism in this area, where Zim, Zam, Bots and Nam all come together. I believe there is a multi-country, multi-entry visa available.
