This is a beautiful condition Verney Carron 450/400 nitro express O/U double rifle. It shoots the included developed loads with Aframes, 400gr CEB, Hornady DGX/DGS to the same POI with 4 shots into 2 inches at 50 yards. This gun gets a lot of compliments with its case colors and nice wood. I particularly like the right hand palm swell in the stock, which makes it very comfortable to shoot. Included is a set of CH4D loading dies, 40 rounds of new factory brass, 2 boxes of factory DGX, and about 250 rounds of reloads that have been developed to regulate excellently for this double rifle. The factory hard case, snap caps, paperwork and factory test target are included. $10,000

Thanks Philip. It's a very neat gun, formerly owned by Dave here on the forums who took hippo and roan with it. I just have too many calibers! Fit and finish on this gun is very good. It's tight and shoots well. I just can't keep everything!

Thanks. I think it's a very good value and for those who haven't tried an O/U double rifle, this one is pretty dynamic and handles very well. It carries better than my round body V/C 500ne. Feels great in the hands. Former owner said he could hit the bottom end of a soda can at 50 yards with it. That's good shooting but the gun will do it.

I can’t believe this package is still on the market! All that 450/400 ammo paired with a fine rifle.
Someone needs to buy this so it stops occupying space in my head. I’ve always had a soft spot for this cartridge. Everyone knows how “ Pondoro” felt about it! GLWS

We all have these ideas of what a proper rifle looks like...yea, yea With this gun, you show up with a freaking laser beam and become the legend of 'that guy with the O/U nitro double that smashed everything".

I will also consider payment plans if that helps the buyer.
