What is value of Ruger number one from mid 90s in 7x57 and the model a configuration? Guy is asking 1600 with leupold scope. Thanks

Depending on condition and use, sounds about right. Maybe even a good deal if it has nice wood. Many going for north of $2K these days.

So as a comparison, locally in Alabama that rifle would go for about $1200.
My recent #1 from my LGS was 458 win Mag, Tropical. I paid $1100 plus tax. It came from a collection and appeared to be unfired. A couple of small handling dings.

The 7x57 always goes for a premium. I’ve seen most of them go for close to or over $2K. If it has nice wood I would jump on it. They don’t last long.

My brother just bought a beautiful #1 6mm for $800 at the gun trade show
No scope
He has a .243win #1 also and paid around $1200 w/h scope a few years ago

Assuming it’s not scratched and/or pitted, that’s a solid price, even if the scope is a plain Jane M8 4X. And it probably isn’t.

I believe the value is based on the caliber. I have a 275 Rigby stamped Ruger No.1 that I'm sure I can get some good coin for this rifle.

If you have pictures post them here and we may be able to give you a better idea on value. Now, if you take the scope off (assuming is a VX-3), you are now looking at $1300 rifle which is a great value. More info would help us help you.

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
Two African Safaris Hunted South Africa both times,
9 game animals taken
Has anybody hunted with Phumba safari in steenbokpan south Africa?
