My wife and I just got home from our semi-annual turkey hunt in the south central cedar hills of Nebraska. We have been hunting out there for years, and it just seems to get better each time. The turkey population in this area is unbelievable. This trip, we faced some weather challenges with rain, sleet and even snow, but hey, that's hunting. Still, we had an incredible hunt and limited out with 6 trophy birds. Nebraska is mecca for turkey hunters, and it offers some unique and beautiful landscapes.
We hunt with our guide and friend Dustin on a mix of leased, private and public land. This is a physical hunt with a lot of run & gunning, climbing hills, & belly crawling. It's also the most fun you'll probably ever have hunting. If you are interested in this type of hunt, PM me and I will be happy to give you all of the details.
I hope you enjoy the pics.... These are only a few of the highlights.
