USA: I Shot A Hard Hunted Long Beard Turkey Yesterday

I hunted this turkey for six days and yesterday morning it paid off as he strutted close enough to call into shooting range. a hen tried to sink the deal, but I stayed real still and she didn,t make me and I call the tom into about 35 yards and shot him. tc encore 12ga 3" mag with 2.5x leupold, Carlson extended .640 choke and Winchester long beard 1-3/40z #5,s, done deal. a little over 20 lbs with a 10" beard.

on a good friends farm(40 years), I have killed quite a few turkeys there.
