Dear AH members,
I have a friend that cannot find these primers for a new muzzleloader he just bought. Can anyone help?? He wants to shoot the muzzleloader this summer to get ready for his September 10th elk hunt. Any help appreciated!

Plenty of them on Gunbroker.... they're priced ridiculously high, but if he needs them, they'll probably be one of the cheapest parts of his hunt despite the price gouging.
Good luck.

I have around 170 215's if they would work.

What muzzle loader does he have that takes rifle primers?

I also have a bunch of CCI 200's that match the Federal 210's

I have some I can spare if he's in WA state.

Want to make sure you're aware that you can't just mail primers due to them being hazmat. They require specific shipper certification and packaging.

If you are near south Alabama (about 50 miles west of Ft Rucker, which I assume the CWO in your name means you’re a warrant officer, so you’ll know where that is) I would be happy to help him out and give him 100 or 200. I cannot ship though. Just let me know if you are near.

Where is he located? If here in Wyoming I can help him out.

I also have 210’s and 215’s on hand.
If he’s in the region. For instance my wife’s headed to Billings Mt. tomorrow. Early next week friends headed to ND and eastward from there.

The muzzleloader is a CVA Paramount Pro Colorado. It’s designed around the Colorado legal requirements for muzzleloaders.

Ok it is vary flame converted breach plug. Very flame makes an insert similar to 209 primar but hollowed out to accept magnum primers.

I have a Paramount 45 cal. Early manufacture. Basically a Bergara 700 action for Muzzle loading.

With Fury bullets it's a shooter. 45 STB at .453 with wad and 70 grains weighed of Blackhorn.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
