my two Winchester 38-40 lever action rifles, top is a 1873 and the bottom is a 1892 with several boxs of factory ammo. I do reload for them too. I have quite few Winchester lever action rifles as I have quite a soft spot for them.

Beauties! I think they'd be great for an eastern woods whitetail hunt.

Oh, that 1892 take down really makes me slobber but, there ain't no flies on the 1873 either.;)

This 1892 action dates back approximately 109 years -can not be exact as the last numbers of the serial number are worn away.
Because of age and wear, it was upgraded to .357 magnum with new Douglas barrel, Bishop stocks, and a Lyman peep sight about 50 years ago.
I bought it in the 1970s and it has been used to train young shooters and to take a few deer and hogs since then.
Slick action and very accurate 20 inch barrel.

Also a good companion arm for .357 revolvers.

Now it is time to tell us some of their hunting stories.
Indeed! I have often wondered how my old 1892 was shot so much as to wear the action slick and ruin the barrel and stocks.

Since there is no provenance, I will never know. I am now keeping a Provenance so whomever receives this rifle may know some of the history.

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.

Reach out to the guys at Epic Outdoors.

They will steer you right for landowner tags and outfitters that have them.

I have held a membership with them for years and they are an invaluable resource.

Way better that asking random people on the internet...WAY better

Skydiver386,

Did you ever find your 30-06 CZ550? I own a fairly solid conditioned one, if you wanted to talk.
