One of my Inuit buddies shot this polar bear just this spring. Anyway since there is sometimes debate about the size of an animal because of how a picture is taken etc... to make it look bigger and so on I figured it would maybe be neat to try this with the gun in the photo as a reference and right next to the bear. I'll reveal the size after a few guesses...

By looks of the pic I would say 12'. That said, the record is just over 11' ....hmmm WOW!

How big is it... I'd say big :ROFLMAO:!

Ok, I'll guess 10'5

I would say 10 to 10 1/2

I'm guessing just over 10. It's big regardless.

i got to take the easy way out,11 feet or a little over.

Just under 10 and I mean just. Nose to toes.

That's a 10'7 nanuk. Thanks for sharing.

8'6" nose to tail.

I would say around 11ft.[emoji56]

Nine feet 10 inches. Big bear!

So what did it square out? Nose-tail and across front pad's? Beautiful bear!

I say 8ft 9 inches nose to tall. Does not look like one of the giant polar bears to me but that is a bad pic to judge from.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx
