I have prime dates available for a Elephant .. arrive May 4th and depart May 15th 10 days hunting .

10 days @ $ 750 a day
Trophy fee $10500
Parks game scout $50 a day until Elephant is taken .

Concession / permit fee $500

Ivory registration and cites tag $250

2% ZTA levy on total day rate and trophy fees .

Observers $100 a day .

Field prep and general salting plus transporting of hide if required $600 . If you only keeping the ivory and feet plus one panel then no fee charged .

Skinning of full mount or shoulder mount or wanting all the bones for skeleton mount will be extra ..

Transfer from Bulawayo airport to camp return free .

Gratuities at your discretion.

Extra trips to Vic falls on request will be an extra fee .

Weather this time of the year is excellent and very comfortable.

I just hope deals like this are still offered in a few years from now when I can do it. That's not much more than a good PG hunt.

Exactly this is not a lot for a Elephant Hunt .. and in prime dates .. I had a provisional booking for these dates without taking a deposit.. unfortunately due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances these dates are once again available . Ordinarily this hunt should be at least another $4-$5K more however I’d like to get this hunt sold soon especially early in the season and May is a great time .

Wayne, where is the area and what’s the average ivory size expectations? Are there any other species available after/if the elephant is taken? If an observer comes along, any opportunity for them to take any plains game after an elephant is down?

Hi Southpaw expected ivory size is 30 - 40 lbs however possibly larger can be found if lucky like anything else . I am not offering 50Lb > bulls only a fair hunt for a mature bull . The areas are near Kusile RDC / Lupane and Gwayi district approximately 2 1/2 hours plus drive from Bulawayo. Yes there is some plainsgame available in the same area and if needed we can move to another concession for plainsgame either at Cawston which is close to Byo or in West Nic at Bubiana Conservancy all depends on how early you are successful.
