Have you recently had any success getting ivory from this specific area imported into the U.S? Assuming your calendar was wide open, what would you consider the best months for a big bull? What is your average tusk weight taken in this area? Is this Matetsi 5? Thanks

This is unit 5!
Average ivory is around 40 pounds a side, we have taken bulls in their 30’s as well as bulls in excess of 60 pounds!
Early and late season tend to produce slightly higher averages.

most of my clients use John Jackson for imports into the USA, I do know there have been successful imports from Matetsi hunts, perhaps a question to Conservation force!

I am not sure how much help importing the ivory you will get from Conservation Force. I have sent 2 emails with questions about Zimbabwe elephant imports. So far, no response from them. I am going there in a couple weeks.
